Violet Co FY21 Pro Bono Program Results are in!

We are absolutely stoked. We have just tallied up the contribution that our legal practice has made during FY21. $123,000 of legal services were delivered as part of our commitment to the National Pro Bono Target. WOWZERS!

As a social enterprise our very motivation for being is to create a legal and consulting practice that delivers impact. We aim to work with and for women and Indigenous people to enable them to attain their self-determined version of justice.

Our areas of focus are:

  • working with women and Indigenous people who have experienced sexual harassment, discrimination and other gender or race-based issues;

  • working with women and/or girls who have experienced sexual violence; and

  • offering pro bono and discounted rates for our for-purpose clients who are charities or social enterprises working to make a difference to women and/or Indigenous peoples. Supporting governance, workplace law and other corporate issues is where we can chip in.

A big shout out to Alicia Snijders, Amanda Matthews, Annalees Jeffriess, Patrick Flood, our community partner the National Justice Project and Karen Iles for working together to support individuals and organisations during the year. Looking forward to expanding our programs in FY22. Please get in touch if you would like to collaborate.
